Last night we met at Bel Rio in Belmont for the second time and it looks like they have everything running smoothly now. They had several wines and they had the Humbolt Red Nectar on draft. The band was a fun addition to the night.

Last night was our first visit to Siips and the nice open space was a good fit for the crowd. There were 9 wines to choose from and it was nice to have such a big selection.

Last night we went to EsCafe. If you made it in the door I feel like you were doing well because it was packed in the bar area. I’m sorry if I didn’t take your picture last night. I only made it through the crowd once to snap a couple. It was great to see everyone out before the holiday. Enjoy your time at home the next couple weeks and I’ll see you back after New Years! Merry Christmas!

Last night we went to the new Belmont restaurant Bel Rio. Bel Rio opened a couple weeks ago and the new owners made a lot of updates to the inside of the restaurant since it was Sax. There was a Zydeco band playing and even though it was a little warm(or a lot) it’s exciting to have a new music venue in Belmont.

McGrady’s is always a lot of fun for those of you that still haven’t made it their way. There was a fun crowd last night and some of our friends from FirstWednesdays made it over after their meeting.

Last night we checked out the new restaraunt Al Hamraa at the IX building. It’s right next to Al Dente and 2 doors down from Blue Wheel Bicycles. It’s a big restaraunt with a lot of open space. There are seats all the way around the perimeter of the restaurant with Moroccan themed pillows and decorations and then there is a huge dance floor in the middle of the restaurant. The stage is at the front of the restaurant and all night they stuck with the theme of Moroccan music. It’s a neat restaurant, they have a small room to the right when you first walk in that you can have a private dinner party, there are rugs so that you would sit on the floor around a table in the room. The food smelled really good, but I didn’t have a chance to try it last night.
